All About Toadally Restored
At Toadally Restored, we believe that healthy ecosystems and productive land can, and should, coexist. Founded in 2021 by ecological restoration specialist Michelle Hill, our mission is to help Ontario landowners breathe life back into their landscapes by restoring wetlands and creating critical habitat for Species at Risk (SAR), especially native snake species.

What began as a side project alongside a full-time job quickly grew into a full-fledged calling. When Michelle found herself between roles, she took the leap, diving headfirst into learning how to run a business that aligned with her passion for ecological restoration. With wetlands rapidly disappearing across Ontario and SAR populations in decline, she saw a gap in the field, and an opportunity to make a real difference.

Michelle’s journey into restoration began long before Toadally Restored. With a Diploma of Technology in Renewable Resources and a Bachelor of Science in Ecological Restoration from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, she’s spent years studying, training, and working in the field.

Today, Michelle brings that same passion and precision to every project. She’s not just a consultant, she’s a collaborator, a Certified Ecological Restoration Practitioner in Training, and a boots-on-the-ground operator (yes, she even trained to operate an excavator!). Her goal is to empower landowners with the tools, knowledge, and funding resources they need to restore their land in a way that benefits both people and wildlife.

At Toadally Restored, we’re not just restoring wetlands—we’re restoring balance, biodiversity, and a sense of stewardship. Whether you're looking to enhance your property, support wildlife, or access cost-sharing programs, we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
